An established entertainment website is on the lookout for experienced writers with a passion for geek culture to add to our team. We have a broad focus -- primarily TV and film, but extending to comic books, music, books, and video games. We welcome reviews, news articles, and editorials on these topics.

Writers should be able to contribute 3 to 5 articles a week, ideally ranging from 300 to 700 words, with a maximum of 1500. Specific topics will be a mix of assigned and writers choice.

The owner and editorial team both know the value of content in determining the success of a website of our kind. In that spirit, all contributors will have the opportunity to earn revenue for quality content as we grow. Earnings will be determined through a point system and will be derived from a share of our advertising and merchandising revenue.

Writers will have the potential to gain access to interview opportunities, preview screenings, press releases, and convention coverage. These assignments will be given out at the discretion of the editorial staff.

To submit yourself for consideration we would like to hear why you would be a good fit for our site and what skills and knowledge you think youd bring to the table. We also request links to previous work and/or a writing sample. Please limit your sample to 500 words.

We anticipate many submissions, but we are looking to add multiple contributers. All samples received will be thoroughly reviewed. Because of high volume we will not be able to inform you should you not make the cut. If we have not contacted you within five days, we have decided to pass or the positions have been filled.
